ATN BRINGS YOU WEST INDIES vs. INDIA CRICKET SERIES

June 25, 2009

TORONTO, CANADA June 25th 2009,   Asian Television Network International Limited (ATN) (TSX-SAT), Canada’s pioneer South Asian Broadcaster and Canada’s largest distributor of World Class Cricket, announces it has secured the exclusive Canadian broadcast rights for the cricket series between West Indies & India commencing live from Kingston, Jamaica on Friday June 26, 2009.

This series of One Day International (ODI) matches will be shown live on CBN and ATN-Cricket Plus. The West Indies team appears ready for the challenge, as its performance in the World Twenty20 was a dramatic improvement from its efforts last summer in which it lost both the Wisden Trophy and ODI series to England.

“This will bring Canadians exciting and extremely enjoyable cricket that is taking place in prime time,” said Shan Chandrasekar President & CEO of Asian Television Network.

CBN (the Commonwealth Broadcasting Network) and ATN-Cricket Plus are ATN’s two sports oriented channels. ATN operates 14 channels and has programming alliances with leading International Broadcasters.
